     Bernard Tschumi Lecture:

 

Bernard Tschumi is an architect, writer, and educator who

works and lives in New York and Paris. He was Dean of the

Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation

at Columbia University from 1988 to 2003.

 

His projects include Marne le Vallee School of Architecture in

Paris, the Interface Flon, a bus, train, and subway station and

pedestrian bridge in Lausanne, Switzerland, a 70,000 SF

concert hall and exhibition complex in Ruoen, France, the

100,000 SF Florida International School of Architecture in

Miami, Florida and the Acropolis Museum in Athens.

Suburban Chapters, and the Young Architects Forum.

 

Designers competed to create an innovative, visionary and compelling proposal for a Newark New Jersey Visitors Center. View the winning design, chosen in November 2009.
